Abstract
In this rapid evolution era, our planet is current suffer from various kind of pollution due to activities carried out by mankind. The rapidly growing world energy use has already raised concerns over supply difficulties, exhaustion of energy resources and heavy environmental impacts (ozone layer depletion, global warming, climate change, etc.). Construction sector is a kind of sector which brings a lot of impact to the environment. Especially the materials from which a building is constructed make a significant contribution to its overall impact on the environment. In order to save our planet from the danger, to become a country of energy saving, consumption reduction and low carbon emissions, we have to plan before develop. Some actions have to take out to reduce the impact on environment. For every different single sector, different effort can be put to reduce the impact. Techniques and method of the research are still needed in the construction, building energy conservation, the environmental protection, low carbon and recycling methods are taken measures. However, the most important thing in this paper is to understands the impacts of building materials on environment included its characteristics and manufacture process in order to select a suitable materials to ensure environmental protection, energy-saving building. The study proves that the environment impact caused by construction activities can be significantly reduced by proper selecting suitable or green building materials and eco-innovation in production plants, substituting the use of finite natural resources for waste generated in other production processes, preferably available locally.
