The first instinct might be to say exactly what one wants, “looking for men who have a sense of humor, plays football, and who like to walk the beach”. However according to Bryne (1971 cited in Dickerson 2012) best results will come from a description about your personal qualities, “I enjoy long walks on the beach, I love to laugh, and my favourite time of year is fall so I can watch the Queen’s football games”. Using the law of Attraction, tinder can be a way to find love as long as a person includes what they are seeking in their profile. Thus, women who are going out on dates each night or home with a new man are putting out that energy and are more likely to use dating sites. The universe hears what a person focuses on, not what a person thinks they want. What an individual puts their mind to becomes reality and reality is always based on how one views the world. However, while common interests and personal qualities are very important to maintaining relationships, Tinder’s true emphasis is on physical attraction and the users profile pictures.
