I grew up in a house where I was alone were only the stories in book gave me an escape. I learned to read pretty young. Learning to read has improved my life in a huge way I was homeschooled and didn't get out much reading changed that. Reading also improved on my school being able to read allowed me to learn and do well in school it really made college a lot easier. Reading as improved my life because I am never stuck with knowledge I can always learn something new, I can always keep learning. Reading improved my life because I always had an escape, I was always in an adventure, and most immortally I was never limited on learning because I could read.
I learned to read early on and for the most part I taught myself to read some words that I could not figure out I would go asks my mother or father what they were. They would get so aggravated at me but was glad that I was trying to read. My childhood was pretty lonely till I learned to read then I when on al kinds of adventures, man the stories I lived they were great. I read about some really great love tales, some with dragons, magic, and mysteries, I been all around the word even to places that in real life are never there and I never had to leave my room. With reading I was never really alone and I had friends they were just books. Reading would always make any day better and I was never just in my room I was where ever the book took me.
Being homeschool meant that I had to get my G.E.D. I had to study for months and long hours. Working and going to classes for my G.E.D was really tough but I had reading on my side so I knew I had the ability to learn I knew I could to it. I was smart enough to accomplish this task ahead of me. I saw it as a great battle and reading was my sward.
