Would a woman be a good president of the United States? Well, the real question here is "Why wouldn’t she?" I believe women are just as capable as men to handle the duties and responsibilities that come with being the president of the United States. why has a woman not been elected to be the leader of our, so called, great and equal country?” Our constitution guarantees that all individuals are created equal. This means that women are equal to men and should have the same opportunities as men. In other countries, women are making successful governors and leaders, so why can’t we give women the opportunity in the United States. This paper will analyze some reasons why women should one day, be considered as a legitimate candidate for the president and also analyze the responses of people in the community who oppose this belief.
The first reason why a woman should one day be considered as Commander-in-Chief would be because women are less aggressive when it comes to making decisions that would require physical violence. A woman would try to avoid threatening warfare against a country if given the decision. Instead of allowing problems to escalate to physical violence, they would find a better solution, one that allows both sides come out on top. With a woman in office, the united states would have probably. This alone helps to support the claim that the U.S. would have been able to avoid many of its past wars. Since no man wants to be belittled, they feel that they have to “act like a man,” when it comes to physical violence, and because of their pride, they will give into pressure when they are “tried” by another man.
