The jutting-out balcony of my room was a deck of a ship with turbulent waters rocking me now and then. With the darkness of the night wrapping around me and nothing but the stars to guide me, I felt lost in the depths of my thoughts as I pondered upon how to read the alignment of the stars to navigate. But as the morning sun ascended on its throne from the east, I could see my course. My compass pointed towards the direction that connected me with human existence and a prospect of uplifting mankind.
Every person is a different story and in my story hardships and scarcity have been prominent characters. I experienced childhood in a family with economic issues and a derivative culture. In spite of turbulent waters, my ship had to sail further. My parents were supportive of providing me a good education, which leads my affirmation in one of the top schools in my city. My school has constantly remembered me for my credibility and given me various opportunities to explore my talents. The rack at the edge of my room is stacked with beautiful incarnated shields; some discuss works of art, some of the level-headed discussions, MUNs and shining metal pieces which have constantly made my family glad. But the satisfaction that I had felt slowly ebbed away as I tried to place the esteem of these accolades. For I had started to believe that these accomplishments are not meant for room décor but are a means to help me excel.
The minute had come when I was to settle on my advanced education; I strived to accomplish a kind of training which gave me plentiful space to investigate my legitimacy and also my credibility and improve me as a pioneer of mankind.
