Healthcare is one of the biggest issues that we haveTexas has faced from a policy process. Healthcare as a whole, healthcare is something that is exceptionally hard to deliver very effectively because of the massive geopolitical divide that exists between people on the best way to deliver healthcare and make sure it is equitable for everyone. In the past, healthcare used to was for the people who could afford that level of care and the people who couldn’t be essentially unable to access it. Health insurance started in the mid-1900s and that led to a rise in the number of people using healthcare; this was because because they were able to get received easy access to it and didn’t have to see the massive costs that were payed paid for on the back end. Insurance was great beneficial for the population, but then it later caused prices to skyrocket in the healthcare industry because no individual person was actually paying like before;, it was all payed paid for by a conglomerate.
Granted, insurance is not the only reason for the drastic rise of healthcare costs; , in fact it is one of the many reasons that healthcare is so inaccessible right now because insurance itself has also become prohibitively expensive. The biggest goal of policy in the 21srt century healthcare policy is to not only curtail the rapidly rising costs of healthcare, but to and to also make sure ensure that more people are able to access regular preventative preventive care, rather than having to walk into the ER anytime a problem arises. Access to preventable preventive care and regular access to cheaper healthcare is something that would dramatically increase the health of the overall population. The federal government has enacted some legislation that aims to address this very topic.
