The average number of hours’ students spend in school per year is 701 hours. That is about 6 to 8 hours each day. Maybe it is time for the U.S. to look at examples like Finland and make our education system go higher. Shortening the school day has its benefits, disadvantages, but it will also prepare students to be more successful in the future.

They do not have to wake up early, which means their attitudes and behaviors would be better. So, the shorter the school day the more focus the students are. If kids were more focused in class, they would do better in school and in life. It is time for the U.S. to achieve more by doing less.
