Ray Bradbury, the author of Fahrenheit 451 is known as the world's greatest science fiction master. He was born on August 22, 1920 in Waukegan, Illinois, USA. After graduating from high school in 1938, he sold newspapers on the streets during the day and read and wrote in public libraries at night. In 1943, he officially became a full-time writer, writing short stories for a variety of magazines, but it was not until 1947 that his first work, The Dark Carnival, was officially published. The novel The Martian Chronicle published in 1950 is his famous masterpiece, helping him established his position in the science fiction field. Later, he published many classic works, including: Fahrenheit 451, The Illustrated Man, and Dandelion Wine. His creation speed and quality are amazing, and he published nearly 50 novels over the years, including about 600 short stories.
