In North America, 186 of 1000 pregnancies result in an abortion. The removal of a fetus or embryo can lead to mental and physical health problems, a lesser value of human life and family, along with a decrease in adoptable babies.
To start, abortions have caused a great contribution in the mental and physical health. With that being said, by escaping parenthood, these women are putting their life at quite a risk. Furthermore, those who survive may serve the same fate. This proves that women who abort are not only at a mental but also a physical risk. Thirdly, women health is not the only one affected by miscarriage. On April 1988, the journal of social and clinical psychology found that 51% of men report regret, 45% felt sadness and 25% experience depression. This research proves that abortions can affect more than just females. To sum up, as the mental and physical health problems affect women and men, those who consider aborting should consider these factors.
